Job Summary
Join SMARTLAB as a Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and Mathematics Teacher to inspire students through engaging lessons and practical experiments, fostering academic excellence and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons for Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and Mathematics to enhance student understanding and performance
- Conduct Physics laboratory experiments and practical sessions aligned with curriculum requirements to provide hands-on learning experiences
- Prepare, administer, and mark worksheets, assignments, tests, and examination papers to assess and support student progress
- Monitor student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to guide academic improvement
- Contribute to curriculum planning, development, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high teaching standards
- Foster a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages student engagement and respect
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching quality and student outcomes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Physics, Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Secondary and/or Junior College Physics and/or Mathematics
- Strong subject knowledge with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Experience conducting Physics laboratory practical lessons is an advantage
- Familiarity with the Singapore Secondary and/or Junior College curriculum is preferred
