Full Time Wildlife Rehab Officer

Animal care and rehabilitation is important to improve the chances of survival for injured/sick animals so that they are ready to be released back to their habitat, and to keep them as healthy while they are under our care.

This position involves a lot of physical work and being outdoors. However, it is also rewarding as you have a direct-involvement in the well-being of the animals.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food and feed the animals.
  • Provide enrichments for the animals.
  • Clean the enclosures and cages.
  • Check and monitor for signs of distress, disease or injury.
  • Administer care for sick animals.
  • Check enclosures and cages for signs of wear and tear or damage.
  • Maintain daily animal healthcare records.
  • Perform final round for end-of-day inspection (animal care checklist and housekeeping).
  • Engage and work with volunteers.

Requirements:

  • Able to commit 5 days a week from 9.30am-5.00pm. (including weekends)
  • Physically fit.
  • Professional in communicating with team members and volunteers.
  • Singaporean/PR.
