Summary
Fullstack Java developer (6+ years) for an investment banking/financial services client project in Porto (hybrid). Day to day: design, build, test and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications with an Angular frontend, Oracle/SQL databases, OpenShift, and Jenkins-based CI/CD.
This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, that currently has its technological hub in Portugal and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business.
We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, design, and implement Java-based applications;
- Analyze user requirements to inform the design and functionality of the application;
- Define application objectives and ensure alignment with business goals;
- Develop and test software to ensure high-quality outputs;
- Debug and resolve technical problems as they arise;
- Produce detailed design documentation to guide development and maintenance.
Requirements:
- More than 6 years of experience in a similar position;
- Proficiency with Java, and Spring Boot framework;
- Experience working with Angular for frontend development;
- Knowledge of database management systems, specifically Oracle and SQL;
- Familiarity with OpenShift for container orchestration;
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git and Bitbucket;
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins;
- Familiarity with deployment automation tools like XL Deploy and XL Release;
- Fluent in English.
