Fullstack Developer - Java & PHP

About the Role
As a Fullstack Developer, you will build and maintain web applications and backend services using Java and PHP, from database design and API development to the user interface, working closely with the product and engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and PHP (CodeIgniter 4 & Laravel).

• Build, integrate, and maintain REST APIs and backend services.

• Design relational database structures and manage database migrations (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Develop user interfaces using server-side rendering or modern frontend integration (Thymeleaf, HTMX, or JavaScript frameworks).

• Apply clean code practices, application security principles, and software design patterns.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with the team to translate requirements into working features.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java & Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience with PHP (CodeIgniter 4 & Laravel).

• Proficient in JavaScript and fullstack development.

• Experience building and integrating REST APIs / backend services.

• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database migrations.

• Hands-on experience with server-side rendering or modern frontend integration (Thymeleaf, HTMX, or JS frameworks).

• Familiarity with clean code practices, application security, and software design patterns.

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
