FullStack Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a FullStack Developer based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to help frontline teams access the knowledge they need to improve business performance.
You will work as a hands-on full-stack engineer, contributing across backend services and modern frontend experiences.
The position combines React and TypeScript development with Java or Go backend engineering, SQL, and modern application architecture.
You will take ownership of well-defined technical challenges and deliver reliable, maintainable solutions in a fast-moving development environment.
AI coding assistants will be an integral part of your daily workflow, helping you improve development efficiency and code quality.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams while contributing to architecture, testing, code reviews, and technical improvements.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support high-quality software across backend services and frontend user interfaces.
• Build responsive and robust web experiences using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES2017, TypeScript, and React.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and/or Go, with strong attention to performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Work with relational databases, SQL, data structures, and application-level data processes to deliver reliable backend functionality.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions, evaluating trade-offs related to scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Use AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot as part of the daily engineering workflow to improve productivity and code quality.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive feedback to maintain consistent engineering standards.
• Identify technical debt, surface potential engineering risks, and contribute practical solutions for improving the codebase.
• Break complex development requirements into clear, manageable tasks and execute them independently through completion.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Quality Assurance to refine requirements, validate functionality, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to unit and functional testing and help maintain reliable development and deployment practices.
• Share technical knowledge, new tools, development patterns, and lessons learned with other members of the engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional full-stack software development experience working with modern frontend frameworks and backend services.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript, including JavaScript design patterns and single-page application development.
• Solid professional experience with Java and/or Go, including data structures, backend development, relational databases, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL or similar relational database technologies.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot as part of a daily development workflow.
• Experience working with microservices and modern application architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly GCP, and application infrastructure concepts such as containers, caching, and distributed systems.
• Experience building AI-driven applications, agentic products or features, working with LLMs, or using frameworks such as LangChain or Google ADK is a strong advantage.
• Strong commitment to unit testing, functional testing, code quality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on clearly defined problems and take ownership through successful completion.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and QA functions.
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency.
• Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical background, demonstrated through formal education, hands-on experience, or a combination of both.
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, during East Coast business hours.
