Fullstack Developer (Node)
Summary
Hybrid contract role (2 days/week in London) for a fullstack engineer building features end to end with TypeScript, React, and Node.js on Kubernetes in AWS, using AI tooling daily. Pay is £550/day outside IR35 at a well-funded tech company whose products serve millions of users.

Our Client is a well-established, well-funded tech company building products used by millions of people every day. They move fast, care deeply about quality, and back their engineers to do their best work.
Their stack: TypeScript, React and Node.js, running on Kubernetes in AWS. AI isn't a buzzword here - it's baked into how they build, and they want it baked into how you build too.
What you'll do:
- Build features end to end - from the database to a polished, accessible React UI
- Work closely with product, design, data and other engineers to turn real customer and commercial problems into shipped software
- Use AI tooling daily to move faster, not just talk about it
- Take part in code reviews, give and take honest feedback, and help keep our codebase clean, tested and secure
What you bring:
- Strong TypeScript and solid Node.js fundamentals
- A real handle on React
- Hands-on experience shipping code with AI tooling (CLI or editor-based agents)
- A clean-code mindset - separation of concerns, sensible patterns, no over-engineering
- Comfort with cloud-native, container-based apps - REST APIs, load balancing, scaling
- Security awareness - XSS, SQL injection, CORS, auth done properly
Bonus points: Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, GitHub Actions, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Fastly, Storybook, Bun.
