Summary

Senior fullstack engineer (6–9 yrs) in Mumbai owning complex modules of a client-facing analytics platform end to end — architecture, deep production debugging, third-party API/data-sync integrations, and mentoring SDE I/II engineers. Core stack: REST APIs, distributed systems, SQL, Git/CI-CD, and AWS/GCP/Azure.

Role & responsibilities

  • Own complex, high-impact modules end-to-end architecture, implementation, testing, and

long-term reliability across the core analytics platform.

  • Be the engineer other team members escalate to when a data sync, integration, or logic issue can't

be resolved at the standard delivery layer.

  • Resolve deep platform-level integration issues — third-party API dependencies, rate limiters, data

sync failures — that block live client-facing dashboards and features.

  • Take on automation projects and bespoke technical work for high-priority client engagements

requiring senior-level engineering judgment.

  • Drive technical design decisions for major initiatives like the mobile app, third-party integrations, and

dashboard performance and drill-down capabilities.

  • Mentor SDE I and SDE II engineers, reviewing their code and helping build the technical judgment

that comes from production experience.

  • Partner directly with Data & Analytics Engineers and the Customer Success (Delivery) team to solve

ambiguous, client-specific technical problems.

  • Set and uphold engineering standards — code quality, testing discipline, and documentation —

across the modules you own.

Preferred candidate profile

  • You have 6–9 years of hands-on software development experience, with a track record of owning

complex systems independently, not just features.

  • You have deep debugging instincts — you can trace a hard, ambiguous production issue back to its

actual root cause under real time pressure.

  • You're comfortable being the technical escalation point — the person who steps in when a problem

has already stumped others.

  • You think in systems and architecture, not just individual tickets — you can make sound technical

design decisions with incomplete information.

  • You've mentored other engineers and can elevate the people around you, not just your own output.
  • You're comfortable working directly with clients or client-specific requirements when a technical

problem needs senior judgment to solve.

  • You have a strong sense of ownership — you don't hand off a hard problem just because it's outside

your original scope.

Tools & Skills

Strong systems design and architecture fundamentals • Advanced debugging and production

troubleshooting • REST APIs and distributed systems • SQL and relational databases at scale • Git and

CI/CD • Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) • Data pipeline and integration troubleshooting

Good to Have: Experience with connectors, ETL/ELT systems, or data platform architecture • Exposure to

AI/ML-adjacent product features • Mobile app development experience • Direct experience solving technical

problems for enterprise clients • Experience mentoring or leading a small engineering pod
