About the role
PT Pakkodian is seeking a talented Fullstack Developer to join our growing technology team. This is a full-time position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Fullstack Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end applications that power our digital solutions. You will be responsible for building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that drive business value.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
- Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs to support front-end applications
- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces that provide excellent user experiences
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design through deployment and monitoring
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and development trends
- Document code, technical specifications, and system architecture for future reference and knowledge sharing
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role with demonstrable portfolio of completed projects
- Solid back-end development experience with server-side languages (such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP)
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL and NoSQL)
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles and implementation
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and agile practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is desirable
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
