Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and enhance the company's MedusaJS-based e-commerce platform to support online sales of mobile phones, accessories and repair services.
  • Build and maintain dynamic product pages, CMS-driven storefronts using Strapi, and responsive user interfaces to improve customer experience and online conversions.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to automate inventory synchronisation, product management, payment processing and customer notifications.
  • Design and maintain event-driven backend workflows, databases and system integrations to support real-time inventory updates and efficient retail operations.
  • Develop and support online booking solutions for mobile phone repair services including integrations with business systems and customer communication tools.
  • Deploy, monitor and maintain cloud-hosted applications using AWS (S3, SES), Railway and CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure, reliable and scalable software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot, test and optimise software applications, while maintaining technical documentation and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that support the company's retail, repair and e-commerce operations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with Google Maps and other third-party services to support store locations, customer enquiries and repair service bookings.
  • Monitor application performance and implement software enhancements to improve website speed, system reliability, security and overall user experience.
  • Research, evaluate and implement new technologies and software solutions to enhance the company's e-commerce platform, streamline business processes and support future business growth.

Skills & Qualities Required:

  • Strong software development and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and deliver scalable business applications.
  • Proficiency in modern full-stack technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, RESTful APIs and database management.
  • Experience developing and integrating e-commerce, inventory management and other business systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and software development best practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering secure, reliable and maintainable software solutions.
