We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team for a large-scale support and maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript technologies, including Node.js, React, and SQL/NoSQL databases, and will be part of the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of the project and maintaining high standards of software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the development team on core JavaScript platforms, including Node.js, Express.js, React, and databases (SQL/MongoDB).
  • Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments.
  • Provide hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.
  • Participate in production support for incidents and act as an expert technical resource on new technologies and design techniques.
  • Drive the reduction of duplicate processes and code through clean, reusable design.
  • Communicate with project managers on a regular basis; review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members.
  • Manage the queues of BAU/RTB (Run the Business) work and ensure successful, on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Node.js, Express.js, and React.
  • Prior experience in Public Sector or Government projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git), RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and project estimating/planning.
  • Desired skills: TypeScript, Redux/Context API, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience working in high-performing teams through the full development lifecycle.
  • Able to commence within short notice.
