Full Stack Engineer in Singapore supporting a large-scale JavaScript platform: hands-on Node.js, Express.js and React development alongside production incident support, maintenance, and BAU delivery in an Agile team, working with SQL/MongoDB databases.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team for a large-scale support and maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript technologies, including Node.js, React, and SQL/NoSQL databases, and will be part of the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of the project and maintaining high standards of software quality.
Responsibilities
Work as part of the development team on core JavaScript platforms, including Node.js, Express.js, React, and databases (SQL/MongoDB). Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments. Provide hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications. Participate in production support for incidents and act as an expert technical resource on new technologies and design techniques. Drive the reduction of duplicate processes and code through clean, reusable design. Communicate with project managers on a regular basis; review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members. Manage the queues of BAU/RTB (Run the Business) work and ensure successful, on‑time delivery. Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Node.js, Express.js, and React. Prior experience in Public Sector or Government projects preferred. Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git), RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and project estimating/planning. Desired skills: TypeScript, Redux/Context API, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and CI/CD tools. Experience working in high-performing teams through the full development lifecycle. Able to commence within short notice.
