Job Description Full Stack Developer

1. Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining modern web applications across frontend and backend technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular.

The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and responsive frontend applications. They should be capable of independently understanding requirements, navigating existing codebases, delivering end-to-end features, testing solutions, and coordinating deployments.

Strong practical experience with AI-assisted development and Agentic AI workflows is mandatory. The candidate should be comfortable using tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Windsurf to improve development productivity.

The role also involves supporting regional backend service configurations across multiple regions (NARBU, EURBU, AMARBU).

2. Mandatory Technical Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Production experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Hands-on frontend development experience with at least one framework: React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and frontend-backend integration.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and API integrations.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and software testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

AI Proficiency – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or equivalent.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted or Agentic AI workflows for software development.
• Ability to use AI for codebase exploration, coding, debugging, testing, and refactoring.
• Ability to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
• Demonstrable examples of improving development efficiency using AI tools.

3. Good-to-Have Skills

• Backend & Databases: Express.js, MySQL, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Prisma, TypeORM, Mongoose.
• Architecture & Messaging: RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, Event-Driven Architecture, Distributed Systems.
• Security: JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, RBAC.
• Testing: Jest, Supertest, Unit Testing, Integration Testing.
• DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, AWS, Microsoft Azure.
• Monitoring: OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, Distributed Tracing.
• Monorepo: NX, npm, Yarn, pnpm.
• AI Development: MCP, AI Agents, Tool Calling, Context Engineering.
• Tools: GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, SonarQube.
• Exposure to Contentful CMS, Braze, Amplitude, Segment, or similar platforms.

4. Mandatory Evaluation Criteria

Candidates must demonstrate:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant full-stack development experience.
• Strong backend expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Practical frontend development experience with at least one modern framework.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Practical experience using AI-powered development tools and Agentic AI workflows.
• Strong ownership, independent problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in the Chandigarh hybrid arrangement.
