Fullstack Engineer - AI Start Up

Summary

Build and ship full-stack features for an AI-native platform that automates operational workflows using React, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Job Description

Full-Stack Engineer - AI Startup Dublin / Remote-First €80,000 - €100,000 + Equity I'm working with an Irish AI startup that's growing its engineering team again after seeing even stronger traction with its first customers. They're building an AI-native platform designed to automate complex operational workflows, replacing the spreadsheets, disconnected systems and manual processes that still sit behind a huge amount of the industry they operate in. The product is already live. Plenty of enterprise customers are now using it. Now they need another strong full-stack engineer to help build what comes next. What You'll Be Building You'll work across the core product, taking features from an initial problem through to production. That could mean: Building new customer-facing functionality in React Developing backend services with Node.js and TypeScript Designing APIs and data models Working with PostgreSQL and AWS Building integrations with external platforms Developing workflow automation Contributing to AI-powered product functionality Working directly with the founders and product team Shipping, getting feedback and improving what you've built It's genuinely full-stack. You won't be limited to one small part of the platform or spend your time working through a queue of isolated tickets. Tech The core stack includes: TypeScript React Node.js PostgreSQL AWS There's plenty of AI/LLM work happening across the product too, so previous AI experience is useful, but it isn't essential. Strong software engineering fundamentals matter more than the skills mentioned. If you are an expert in a different technology I would still welcome you to apply - it is only a matter of syntax! Who They're Looking For This would suit somebody who has already built and shipped real software but wants more ownership over what they're working on within a start-up or scale up environment. You'll probably have experience across most of the modern JavaScript stack and be comfortable moving between frontend and backend depending on the problem. You don't need to be a Principal Engineer or Architect. They're looking for somebody who enjoys being hands-on, can independently own meaningful features and is comfortable figuring things out when every requirement hasn't been perfectly defined upfront. How They Work The team is predominantly remote, with people getting together in Dublin for around 1-2 days every few weeks. It's a small team, so you'll work closely with the people making product decisions and have a genuine say in how the platform develops. There's plenty to build, live customers to learn from and significant room to grow alongside the company. How to Apply To apply for this role, submit your CV via the application form provided.
