Fullstack Engineer

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team working on a Japanese enterprise portal project. You will help develop new features while also building and improving the project's engineering foundation from the ground up.

React 19, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind CSS, Django 5.2, Django REST Framework, Wagtail, PostgreSQL, AWS Cognito, AWS CDK, ECS Fargate, Aurora, CloudFront, Lambda@Edge, WAF, CloudWatch, Playwright, pytest.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and Django.

Build and integrate REST APIs using Django REST Framework.

Develop and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK.

Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated testing from scratch.

Develop E2E tests using Playwright and backend tests using pytest.

Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.

Collaborate with the engineering team to establish development and deployment best practices.

Requirements

Experience with React and TypeScript.

Experience with Django or another Python web framework.

Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.

Experience with AWS services and cloud-based applications.

Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to improve existing systems.

Comfortable working with technical documentation written in Japanese.

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS ECS/Fargate and AWS CDK.

Experience with PostgreSQL.

Experience with Playwright, pytest, or automated testing.

Experience with CI/CD and monitoring.

Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure.

This project is still building its engineering foundation. CI/CD, monitoring, and automated testing are not yet fully implemented. We are looking for engineers who enjoy building systems from the ground up and improving the foundation, not only developing new features.
