This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fullstack Engineer based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity for an experienced full-stack engineer to join an agile FinTech environment building and evolving enterprise-grade web applications.
You’ll work across the frontend and backend, delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing digital products.
The role combines hands-on development with architecture, testing, code quality, and continuous technical improvement.
You’ll collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate business needs into impactful technical solutions.
You’ll also contribute through peer reviews and technical mentorship, helping strengthen engineering practices across the team.
The position is fully remote within Latin America, with close collaboration across distributed teams aligned to US Eastern Time.

Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and scale enterprise web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React or comparable modern technologies.
- Build responsive, performant frontend experiences, including single-page applications and complex state-management solutions.
- Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or Hapi.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define, architect, and deliver high-impact features within an Agile environment.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to build reliable and scalable data solutions.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to support application quality and reliability.
- Conduct peer code reviews focused on security, maintainability, performance, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Identify technical bottlenecks and optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Mentor other team members on technical and business concepts, contributing to knowledge sharing and stronger engineering practices.
- 5+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Full Stack Developer working with enterprise web applications.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with experience in modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Demonstrated experience with complex state management and single-page application development.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Hapi.js, including RESTful API architecture.
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including technologies such as MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience developing unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest, Chai, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with modern UI frameworks and libraries such as Tailwind, Material UI, or Bootstrap.
- Strong experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical mentoring skills.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed Agile environment and manage priorities effectively.
- Professional fluency in English, as interviews, documentation, meetings, and daily communication are conducted in English.
- Availability for a minimum of 6 hours of overlap with US Eastern Time (ET) during a standard workday.
- Deep experience with React, Redux, Jest, Azure SQL, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems using SAP/BTP.
