Fullstack Engineer

Job Summary As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will design, build, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and user-centric web applications that enable AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions for government systems and digital services. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for frontend interfaces Build backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot, .NET (C#), or equivalent technologies to support scalable and secure applications Apply programming skills in Python to develop and enhance software components and automation scripts Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments such as AWS, GCC, or other approved enterprise cloud platforms to ensure reliability and scalability Use GitLab or similar version control tools to manage source code, implement CI/CD pipelines, and enforce secure development workflows Collaborate with product, policy, data, cybersecurity, DevOps, platform, and business teams to translate operational needs into production-ready digital solutions Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues through strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactively engage in continuous learning and apply modern web, cloud, and AI-enabled technologies to improve agency and citizen services Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience working on Singapore Government projects or within public sector agencies Interest and ability to integrate AI, machine learning, and generative AI technologies into web applications Self-motivated and resourceful with strong software engineering fundamentals and full-stack development experience
