Fullstack Java Developer

Summary

Build and run full-stack Java applications on GCP using Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD; collaborate via pair programming and code reviews in a DevOps culture.

  • You will be involved in all phases of the development lifecycle, which includes e.g. deployment, testing and monitoring - ‘You Build It, You Run It’
  • You write well-designed, testable and efficient code and perform pair programming and code reviews
  • You ensure that designs are in line with specifications and you are responsible for the best possible quality of the products you develop
  • Preparing and creating releases of software components is also part of your area of responsibility
  • You support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives such as technologies and submitting them for architecture review
  • You are willing to constantly expand your knowledge in new areas and technologies

Your Profile:

  • You have several years of sound professional experience in Java development in the backend area as well as practical experience in full-stack development
  • You have practical experience in the design and development of cloud applications (GCP, Terraform) and are also very familiar with Gradle, Docker, Spring Boot, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build
  • You have a sound knowledge of relational databases, SQL and PostgreSQL
  • You are open to the approach of a full-stack developer (incl. testing, frontend, backend, monitoring, DevOps thinking, data) and have experience with test frameworks
  • Your knowledge of English is on a very good level (C1)
