Fullstack Java Developer @ Société Générale
Summary
A 12-month fixed-term senior fullstack Java developer role at Société Générale in Warsaw, working in a feature team on VAN/VOP/SBA banking applications in Agile. Day to day involves designing and delivering code with Java/Spring, Angular, REST APIs, SQL, and Kubernetes, using CI/CD tools like GitHub, Docker, and Jenkins.
In the scope of The Financing and Transactional Banking division (GBTO/FTB) which is one of the Global Banking and Investor Solutions' support functions. GBTO/FTB/DTO is the IT department responsible to support, maintain & develop the Information System for Digital and Transversal Offers.
The Information System is primarily composed of In-house modules developed with Java and deployed in SG Cloud platform with ambition to migrate to Azure in the coming years.
The mission will be dedicated to integrating a dedicated Feature Team, to ensure a Senior Software Engineer role on VAN (virtual account) / VOP (Verfication of Payee) & SBA (Search by Account) application in an Agile environment.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months.

- You have worked as a (mid) software developer or software engineer for a few years, specializing in Java language
- You know our technical stack: Java (Spring, Springboot, Springbatch, Hibernate, JPA), REST API, Angular, SQL, Kubernetes, Cucumber
- You use CI/CD tools, such as: Github, Docker, Jenkins, Sonar, Kibana
- You foster continuous improvement mindset
- You know and apply Software Craftsmanship, such as Clean Code, pair programming, TDD, BDD, and other good practices
- You are familiar with Agile
- You speak fluent English
- You communicate with ease and enjoy working in a team
