A leading financial services client is building a brand new MDM system. It will unify data across multiple asset classes and set the foundation for future AI-driven initiatives.

What you'll do
- Design, build and scale backend services and APIs in Python
- Work alongside dedicated UI developers on React dashboards, maintenance interfaces and visualisation tools
- Model complex ownership hierarchies in graph databases (Neo4j or similar)
- Integrate AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda) and BigQuery on GCP
- Collaborate with local and international teammates in an agile environment
- Financial services background (essential), with a solid grasp of capital market terms (equities, derivatives, asset management) and master data concepts
- Strong commercial Python backend experience
- Working knowledge of React for frontend support
- Graph database experience, ideally Neo4j (highly desirable)
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud data warehousing
- Clear communicator who's happy in the office 3 days a week
