Fullstack Software Engineer (AI Engineering) - TikTok Live Revenue - TikTok Global Live

The TikTok Global Live R&D team builds and maintains the products behind TikTok's live streaming business. Our work spans social interaction, monetization activities, the creator ecosystem, subscription services, game streaming, and guild and operations platforms, supporting the product's rapid growth in global markets.

Behind those products sit hard technical problems in service architecture, large model algorithms, and foundation technologies. Solving them keeps a fast-growing business reliable, efficient, and secure. At the same time, each business scenario needs technical solutions built for its own demands.

You will work alongside a strong team on problems that move real product metrics and user experience, where every line of code you write reaches hundreds of millions of users.

The TikTok Live Revenue team owns the core monetization business of TikTok LIVE, including gifting, fan clubs, interaction and growth products for creators and viewers worldwide. The team invests heavily in AI engineering, building its own agents and developer toolchain, which are already applied to feature development, issue triage, testing and production monitoring.

Responsibilities:

- Design and build revenue products and AI engineering-efficiency tools and platforms across the full stack, including frontend, backend services and workflow orchestration

- Drive the adoption of AI Coding across the development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, technical design, code generation, testing and code review, and establish team-level practices and engineering standards

- Design, build and operate AI agents, including agent collaboration, workflow orchestration and automated verification, ensuring they run reliably in production scenarios

- Build evaluation and observability systems for AI engineering efficiency, using data to measure impact and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Solid computer science fundamentals, proficient in at least one backend language (Go / Python / Java / Node.js) and modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React or similar), with end-to-end delivery experience

- Familiar with the AI ecosystem, with development experience in LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, Prompt Engineering or related areas

- Hands-on experience in AI engineering, developer productivity, engineering platforms or automated workflows

- Strong engineering mindset, able to turn fast-evolving AI capabilities into stable and scalable solutions-

Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and regions

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with agent platforms, multi-agent systems or Spec-Driven Development

- Advanced user of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, with experience building Skills, MCP servers or plugins

- Experience building AI evaluation or engineering-efficiency measurement systems

- Experience with high-concurrency businesses such as live streaming, payments or e-commerce, or with cross-platform frameworks such as Lynx, React Native or Flutter
