Fullstack/Software Engineer

Our client, an IT services, software development, and data engineering consulting company, is looking for a Full Stack Developer/Software Engineer to join their team. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing web and enterprise applications across both front-end and back-end platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web and enterprise applications
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfacesusing modern JavaScript frameworks
• Develop and maintain back-end services, businesslogic, RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices
• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure applicationarchitecture
• Translate business and UI/UX requirements intotechnical solutions
• Develop reusable components, modules, and sharedlibraries to improve development efficiency
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end systemsand third-party platforms
• Design, maintain, and optimise relational andnon-relational databases, including schemas, queries, indexes, and datamigrations
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms suchas AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and supportcontainerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable
• Monitor application performance, availability,logging, and system health
• Perform unit, integration, regression, UAT, and systemintegration testing
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defectsand production issues
• Apply secure coding practices, authentication,authorisation, encryption, and role-based access controls
• Ensure compliance with organisational cybersecuritystandards and industry best practices
• Participate in Agile development activities, includingsprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to continuousimprovement of engineering standards and best practices
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation,architecture diagrams, and deployment documentation
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies,frameworks, and software development trends.

.Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Around 3 years of software development experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable software solutions.
• Good communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in an Agile environmen
• Programming Languages - JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js, Java, C#, Go (desirable), Front-End Technologies, React.js, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS / Tailwind CSS, Responsive Web Design, Back-End Technologies, Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI), Java Spring Boot, .NET Core, Database Technologies, PostgreSQL, MySQL
