Fullstack Software Engineer
Summary
Builds and scales backend services for an ERP platform using Ruby on Rails, Go, or Java, with Docker, CI/CD, and PostgreSQL while integrating AI tools to improve development workflows.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust features for Ukirama ERP, focusing heavily on backend scalability and performance.
- Actively participate in deployment processes, managing Docker containers, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and frontend elements to deliver high-quality, end-to-end software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and database queries (PostgreSQL).
- Participate in code reviews, maintain clean code practices, and help guide junior developers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and AI-assisted coding tools to improve developer productivity and system efficiency.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in fullstack software development with a strong emphasis on Backend development.
- Hands‑on experience with production‑grade tech stacks, preferably Ruby on Rails, Go, or Java (familiarity with Python for AI tools or automation is a strong plus).
- Solid experience with Docker, CI/CD tools, and modern deployment processes (DevOps awareness is a must).
- Proficient in database management, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Strong familiarity or interest in utilizing AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate development workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
