Fullstack Technical Lead
Salary: AUD 1000 per day
Full Stack Technical Lead- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise scale cloud native solutions

The Role:
Our client is a leading technology driven organisation undertaking a major digital transformation initiative focused on building scalable, modern cloud native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
As part of a high performing engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping technical direction, influencing architecture decisions, and leading the delivery of enterprise grade solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on Technical Lead who enjoys balancing software engineering excellence with mentoring teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor an offshore engineering team
- Design and deliver scalable cloud native applications using .NET 8, React and Microsoft Azure
- Drive architecture and solution design discussions across multiple product streams
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Champion engineering best practices including Clean Architecture, solid principles and secure coding standards
- Support sprint planning, estimation, technical governance and production support activities
- Design and implement microservices, distributed systems and event driven architectures
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and release management processes
- Ensure applications are scalable, secure, highly available and aligned to enterprise architecture standards
You Will Have:
- Extensive hands on experience with C#, .NET Core and .NET 8
- Strong frontend development experience using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
- Proven experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, Domain Driven Design (DDD), event driven architecture and distributed systems
- Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Azure including:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Experience with Docker and containerisation technologies
- Strong CI/CD experience using Azure DevOps
- Hands on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL and Azure Cosmos DB
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, query optimization, indexing and performance tuning
- Experience applying Solid principles, Design Patterns and Clean Architecture
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices
- Experience with testing frameworks and Test Driven Development (TDD), including Playwright
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
Nice To Have:
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and Agentic AI development tools
- Experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hubs, RabbitMQ or ZeroMQ
- Experience building enterprise integration and messaging solutions
- Experience with streaming, batch and file based ingestion platforms
- Previous experience working within Scrum or SAFe delivery environments
