Fully Remote AV Field Service Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require at least 2 years previous experience within a professional audio, video, video conferencing, or similar technical role.
• We require the ability to install and configure equipment using software tools.
• We require the ability to terminate cables to industry standard.
• We require self-motivation, reliability, and a professional approach.
• We require excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• We require the ability to plan and manage your own workload efficiently.
• We require a current driving licence, as this is a field-based role.

Responsibilities:

• We attend client sites and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• We communicate with clients and build strong relationships with them.
• We use problem-solving skills to identify faults and deliver high-standard solutions.
• We deliver end-user training after the installation of new devices.
• We accurately complete job reports, explain the steps taken, and obtain client sign-off.
• We accurately complete other service records.
• We identify sales opportunities with existing clients and feed back to our Sales team.
• We conduct and record site surveys to a high standard.
• We maintain standards of technical excellence within the team.
• We participate in training and development activities.
