Functional Analyst, Center of Excellence Oracle ERP & HCM
Your role, your impact
As a Functional Analyst within the Oracle ERP & HCM Center of Excellence (CoE), you'll play a key role in supporting, optimizing, stabilizing, and continuously improving Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management solutions. You’ll combine deep functional expertise with hands-on configuration and support capabilities to help Human Capital and Operations stakeholders get the most value from Oracle Fusion HCM across a global, multi-country environment.
As a senior member of the CoE, you’ll act as a trusted advisor for complex HCM operational and support-related matters, lead the resolution of functional issues, mentor analysts, and contribute to the evolution of our Oracle application landscape. Your ability to bridge business needs, system capabilities, and sustainable support practices will be essential to ensuring service quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement.
Your day-to-day
Lead the functional resolution of complex Oracle Fusion HCM incidents, service requests, and problem management activities;
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional issues across the Oracle Fusion HCM platform;
Configure, support, and optimize Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including Core HR, Workforce Structures, Position Management, Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Journeys, and Dynamic Skills;
Partner with Human Capital stakeholders to understand operational challenges and recommend sustainable solutions;
Assess the impacts of Oracle quarterly updates, new functionality, and system enhancements;
Support testing, validation, release readiness, and production deployment activities;
Produce and maintain functional documentation, troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles, and support procedures;
Collaborate closely with solution architects, business analysts, functional owners, technical leads, and CoE colleagues;
Mentor and provide guidance to functional analysts, developers, and junior team members;
Support service reviews, backlog prioritization, operational governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Keys to your success
6 to 10 years of experience as a functional analyst working with Oracle packaged solutions;
4 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM;
Experience supporting complex Oracle Fusion HCM environments in a multi-country or global operations context and driving operational stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives;
Experience participating in Oracle quarterly release assessments, regression testing, validation activities, and production deployments;
Strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM modules;
Strong experience in functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis, production support, and problem management activities;
Ability to produce and maintain clear functional documentation, troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles, and support playbooks;
Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
Client-oriented and solution-driven mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality standards.
Extra edge
Oracle Fusion HCM certification;
Experience working within an internal Center of Excellence operating model and within ITIL-based support environments, including service request, incident, and problem management processes;
Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Power BI, and Power Query;
Understanding of integrations, data conversions, and data governance processes, as well as knowledge of HR compliance, employee data governance, and audit requirements.
