Functional Analyst for Applications and Generative AI

About the role

At Experis, we are looking for a Functional Analyst and Application Manager to join an Innovation team in the banking sector. You will participate in the definition, coordination, and evolution of applications that support banking processes, acting as a link between users, technical teams, and corporate areas.

What you'll do

• Gather and analyze functional needs and use cases linked to banking processes.

• Translate business needs into executable requirements and tasks.

• Participate in backlog prioritization and monitoring.

• Accompany applications from their definition through to production and evolution.

• Coordinate dependencies with architecture, security, infrastructure, and quality.

• Monitor incidents, risks, and actions.

• Prepare functional documentation and monitoring materials.

• Convey generative AI needs and agent-based solutions to the technical team, participating in governance and responsible AI processes.

What we are looking for

• Experience in functional analysis and application management within the banking sector.

• Essential knowledge of the specific ecosystem of tools and corporate processes of the banking entity and its technology provider for application management and production.

• Knowledge of banking business processes and the ability to translate them into functional requirements.

• Knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and testing and deployment processes.

• General knowledge of generative AI and agent-based solutions.

• Ability to understand architectures and integrations at a functional level and maintain dialogue with technical teams.

• Analytical and organizational skills, autonomy, and proactivity.

• Effective communication, attention to detail, and documentary rigor.

• Working in multidisciplinary teams and an orientation toward problem-solving and value delivery.
