Functional Audit & Business Process, Deputy Manager

Candidate Requirements:

1. Min 5 years of working experience in internal audit, comprising at least 2 year solid experiences of leading team/ project.
2. Degree in Accounting/ Business/ Finance. Professional qualification or equivalent (i.e. CIA/ ACCA) will be an added advantage.
3. Exposure to auditing in retail industry/ Warehouse Operations will be an added advantage.
4. Possess good interpersonal, presentation and report writing skills.
5. Strong critical thinking and data analytical skill.
6. Independent and experienced in dealing with various Stakeholders.
7. Good command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine & scheduled audits, risk assessment, process advisory & ad hoc assignments.
2. Lead audit team in performing audits including audit planning, fieldwork execution, coaching subordinates, report drafting as well as finding presentation.
3. Liaise with the respective stakeholders to obtain data/information for planning and fieldwork as well as coordinating cross-departmental meetings for alignment if necessary.
4. To monitor and perform follow up review on the implementation status of agreed action plans.
5. Oversee and support inventory control activities, including stocktake, cycle count, inventory reconciliation, and asset verification processes.
6. To review compliance to statutory requirements, Group policies and guidelines.
7. Undertake other tasks and responsibilities as instructed by the Superiors
