Functional Business Analyst (Banking Sector)_Contract Renewable
Summary
A Business Analyst in Singapore coordinates demand, capacity, and delivery for banking programs, tracking resources and risks while supporting governance and reporting.
Primary role:
1. Demand / Capacity Management
- Maintain a consolidated view of incoming demand, approved initiatives, and delivery pipeline.
- Track demand against available capacity across teams and workstreams.
- Highlight capacity gaps, delivery constraints, and prioritization conflicts.
- Support management reporting on demand, workload, and capacity status.
2. Resource Management
- Maintain resource plans.
- Track resource allocation, utilization, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Identify resource gaps, key-person dependencies, and availability risks.
3. Delivery Management
- Track progress against milestones, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
- Maintain integrated delivery plans, status reports, action logs, and decision logs.
- Support governance meetings, working groups, and steering committee updates.
- Follow up on overdue actions, delivery slippage, and required decisions.
4. Risk, Issue and Dependency Management
- Maintain RAID logs covering risks, issues, assumptions, actions and dependencies.
- Ensure risks and issues have clear owners, due dates, impact, and mitigation plans.
- Escalate critical risks, blockers, and unresolved issues to management.
- Monitor cross-team dependencies and delivery constraints.
Secondary role is to support departmental administrative activities such as onboarding/offboarding of resources, coordinate key meetings with various stakeholder for department head, prepare meeting deck, project dashboard, training arrangement.
Requirement:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or Finance or Engineering or Data Science.
- At least 3-5 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
Essential:
- Experience in PMO, program coordination, or delivery governance.
- Strong understanding of demand, capacity, resource, delivery, and risk management.
- Experience supporting technology, data, transformation, or banking programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and follow-up skills.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, executive-level reporting.
