Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM & ERP)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM), Dynamics AX 2012, ERP implementation, data migration, and business process transformation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manufacturing and retail environments, preferably within the Jewellery industry, with the ability to lead ERP implementation projects from requirement gathering through post-go-live support.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation & Business Analysis

• Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects across Supply Chain, Inventory, Production, Procurement, Sales, POS, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Conduct business requirement gathering, process mapping, and fit-gap analysis with stakeholders.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), SOPs, and user manuals.
• Recommend process improvements and system enhancements aligned with business objectives.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 & AX Functional Consulting

• Configure and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM, Finance & Operations, and Dynamics AX 2012 modules.
• Manage master data setup, workflow configuration, product information management, and inventory controls.
• Support POS integration and retail business processes.
• Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, and enhancements.

Data Migration & System Integration

• Design and execute data migration strategies using Data Management Framework (DMF).
• Validate and reconcile master and transactional data during migration and cutover activities.
• Develop mapping documents and transformation logic for legacy-to-ERP data migration.
• Support API and batch integrations with third-party applications.

Testing & User Enablement

• Create and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios and test scripts.
• Coordinate business user testing and issue resolution.
• Conduct end-user training programs and prepare training materials.
• Ensure successful user adoption and post-go-live stabilization.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide functional support for ERP users across business functions.
• Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with development teams for resolutions.
• Monitor ERP performance and recommend process optimization initiatives.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and rollout projects.
