Greenfield implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Premium) for a wholesale distribution + manufacturing company (building materials / millwork domain).
Key Responsibilities
BC Functional Expertise
Manufacturing: BOMs, production orders, routings, subcontracting, costing
Advanced WMS: bin-level inventory, directed put-away/pick, warehouse flows, tally/variable UOM
Sales & Pricing: multi-tier price lists, approval workflows, customer-specific pricing
Purchasing: 3-way match, multi-currency, landed cost (ISV preferred)
US Finance: AP/AR, bank reconciliation, 1099, FX gain/loss
Delivery Ownership
Lead design workshops and drive decision closure
Own data migration (templates, cleansing, test loads, validation)
Coordinate ISVs (WMS, Avalara, landed cost, integrations)
Deliver user training across business functions
Maintain functional documentation (FDD)
QA (if included)
Write scenario-based UAT test cases with expected results
Manage BC sandbox environments and test cycles
Bug triage (P1–P3)
Define integration and regression test scenarios
Key Requirements
Experience in BC implementations (Manufacturing + WMS essential)
Strong in workshop facilitation and structured delivery
Comfortable with greenfield ambiguity and multiple parallel decisions
High attention to data accuracy (pricing, UOM, inventory complexity)
