Functional ERP Analyst (5555)
Summary
The Functional ERP Analyst supports U.S. Army financial modernization by analyzing business processes, identifying gaps, and integrating ERP solutions like GFEBS. The role requires deep knowledge of Army financial systems and active security clearance to facilitate stakeholder collaboration and project delivery.
We are hiring a consultant to aid our clients by analyzing functional and technical issues related to their financial landscape. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our clients to support modernization and protection of the financial domain prioritizing the intersection of initiatives (e.g., audit), information and data, and technologies. The consultant will help our clients navigate a complex and dynamic business landscape. This role requires strong knowledge and technical expertise of the Army’s financial business processes, enabling effective creation and integration of solutions.
Essential Duties
- Understanding the client’s business system environment: Develop a deep understanding and develop recommended strategies for the client’s objectives to support solutions
- Business Process Analysis: Lead efforts to analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend optimized workflows within ERP frameworks with a prioritization of protection and need-to-know integrity
- Serve as a liaison to the client for the subject matter experts across highly diverse mission fields and throughout U.S. government stakeholders
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a rapidly changing mission-oriented work environment
- Possess and apply knowledge of the Department of the Army financial systems and processes
- Identify, Analyze, Prioritize, and Champaign both process and technology improvements and actively support operational needs
- Manage project timelines and deliverables keeping the client and stakeholders informed of progress and any challenges encountered.
- Design, lead, and perform assessment of business and operational processes and activities, integrating national security understanding, finding opportunities, and providing meaningful and actionable insights
- Independently facilitate workshops, meetings, and training across the lifecycle of a project
- Translating client gaps, needs, and questions into cohesive projects, tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Translating outcomes of research, deliverables, and projects into the practical implications for transformation across client spaces, processes, stakeholder groups, and system landscapes
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in ERP implementation and support, with expertise in systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.
- Experience supporting Army financial management and business process re-engineering
- Knowledge of the Department of the Army financial systems and business processes strongly preferred
- Experience with the Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s preferred)
- Ability to be onsite up to 75% of the time or as the mission requires
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and knowledge managing diverse projects

- Experience with the Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business System – Sensitive Activities
- Master’s degree
- Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI)
