Job DescriptionWe are looking for a fresher or Software Test Engineer functional testing. The role will involve running simulations, understanding the expected behavior, identifying issues, and helping the development team.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Testing based on defined requirements and test scenarios.Prepare and execute test cases for new and existing features.Identify, reproduce, and report bugs or unexpected behavior.Compare results with expected results and investigate deviations.Work closely with developers to understand issues and verify fixes.Maintain test reports and basic testing documentation.Perform regression testing whenever changes are made.Help automate repetitive testing tasks wherever possible.Prepare reports and presentations related to testing activities.Follow defined testing processes and maintain proper documentation.Required SkillsGood understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.Hands-on or working knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and task management.Good working knowledge of MS Office 365, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Comfortable using macOS and Mac machines for day-to-day work.Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Mac systems.Basic knowledge of Computer NetworksUnderstanding of software testing concepts such as test cases, bug reporting, regression testing, and debugging.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working with simulation results, logs, and data.Good communication skills and willingness to learn.Good to HaveAcademic project or internship experience in networking, simulation, testing.
