Functional Safety Engineer; Automotive / Gothenburg / Remote
Our Swedish based client is seeking a Functional Safety Consultant to ensure the development and delivery of safe products and services to customers. Key tasks include safety case development, hazard analysis, and verification reviews.
The role is principally remote following a few weeks of onboarding onsite in Gothenburg
Skills and Experience:
- Several years of automotive system/functional safety experience
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 and other relevant standards
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, architecture, and software
- Understanding of Safety of the Intended Functionality (SOTIF) is advantageous
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent
- Positive mindset and proactive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under demanding conditions
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Pragmatic and proactive approach to overcoming challenges
