Summary

Designs and executes hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test methodology for an integrated control-systems test bench: writing test plans, test cases and traceability matrices, running functional/regression/fault-injection tests, tracking defects, and automating repeatable suites. Core tools: OPAL-RT/dSPACE/NI HIL environments, DOORS, Jira/Xray, Polarion, Python.

About the role
You will design and execute the hardware and software test methodology for the HIL bench: test plans, test cases, coverage, and results reporting that feed the "fully integrated bench" acceptance.

What you'll do

  • Translate client requirements into HIL test plans, test cases and traceability matrices
  • Execute functional, regression and fault-injection tests on the bench; log, triage and track defects
  • Define pass/fail criteria, coverage metrics and KPIs for bench acceptance
  • Build test evidence packs and contribute to weekly progress reporting
  • Collaborate with software engineers to automate repeatable test suites

What you bring

  • 4–6 years in functional / system / HIL testing of embedded or control systems
  • Experience with requirements-based testing, traceability tools (DOORS, Jira/Xray, Polarion) and defect lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of HIL environments (OPAL-RT, dSPACE, NI) and test automation frameworks
  • Ability to read control-system designs, electrical schematics and interface specs
  • BE in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics

Nice to have: ISTQB; Python/Robot Framework; semiconductor equipment or industrial automation background
