Fundraising / Investor Relations – Asset Management
Our client, a well-established asset management firm is seeking for a fundraising specialist!
Job Responsibilities
- Lead fundraising initiatives for the firm's investment strategies and funds across institutional and professional investor segments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, family offices, private banks, wealth managers, fund platforms and other key distribution channels.
- Identify and develop new investor opportunities across Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
- Manage the full fundraising process from initial investor engagement, due diligence and meetings through to subscription and closing.
- Prepare and deliver compelling fund presentations, investment materials, RFP/RFI responses and investor updates.
- Coordinate closely with Portfolio Management, Investment, Product, Legal, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely investor communication.
- Organise investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and other business development activities.
- Monitor fundraising pipeline, investor feedback and market trends, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Support ongoing investor relations activities, including portfolio updates, performance discussions and ad hoc investor requests.
- Develop a strong understanding of the firm's investment strategies, portfolio positioning and competitive landscape to effectively articulate the investment proposition.
- Ensure all fundraising and investor communications comply with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- 5–10+ years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, business development or distribution within asset management, private markets or financial services.
- Proven track record in raising capital from institutional or professional investors.
- Strong understanding of investment products such as equities, fixed income, alternatives, private markets or multi-asset strategies.
- Established network across institutional investors, family offices, private banks, wealth managers or other relevant investor channels.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
- Commercially driven with strong business development and networking capabilities.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with investment and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing fund distribution and investor communications.
