The ideal candidate will be strategic, resilient, and outcome-driven, with a strong track record in capital raising and effective communication of fund strategies. ## Responsibilities - **Channel Business Development** - Identify and onboard key distribution channels, family offices, and HNIs to expand the fund’s investor base. - Cultivate and manage relationships with relationship managers (RMs) and distribution networks to ensure sustained investor engagement and fund growth. - **Client Acquisition and Engagement** - Partner with the investment team to understand fund strategies and effectively communicate them to prospective investors. - Drive client acquisition through outreach efforts, presentations, and meetings, positioning funds as a compelling investment opportunity. - Maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring investors’ needs are met and that they remain engaged with the fund over time. - **Market Positioning and Strategy** - Represent InCred Asset Management in the market, ensuring the fund’s investment strategies are clearly articulated to potential investors. - Continuously monitor and adjust the go-to-market strategy to align with evolving market conditions and investor trends. - **Resilience and Entrepreneurial Spirit** - Thrive in a startup-like environment, showing persistence and a high level of creativity to overcome challenges. - Stay focused on outcomes and navigate market rejections with a solution-oriented mindset. - **Compliance and Integrity** - Ensure adherence to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in client interactions and business operations. - Maintain a high level of transparency and integrity in all communications and transactions with investors. ## Qualifications - **Experience and Education** - 7-10 years of experience in fundraising, investor relations, or business development in the asset management industry with a proven track record of scaling fundraising efforts. - Demonstrated success in building and managing distribution networks and relationships with RMs, family offices, and institutional investors. - Prior experience in managing capital raising initiatives for equity-focused, private credit, and private equity investment strategies, ideally within India or emerging markets. - **Required Skills** - Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently. - Strong relationship management capabilities to build and maintain investor relationships. - Client-centric focus with the ability to articulate customized investment solutions. - Ability to think strategically and position funds competitively in the market. - Expertise in capturing investor interactions and ensuring timely follow-ups. ## Preferred Skills - Knowledge of India-focused fund strategies and emerging markets. - Experience with technology tools for sales tracking and compliance management. ## Experience - 7-10 years in fundraising, investor relations, or business development, preferably in asset management. ## Environment This position is expected to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
