Fundraising & Partnerships Director
Description
An established faith-based non-profit organisation with an international presence is seeking a Fundraising & Partnerships Director to lead its fundraising strategy and growth in Singapore. With an existing supporter base and relationships to build on, the organisation offers an opportunity to expand its fundraising and partnerships.
Sitting on the executive leadership team and reporting to the CEO, this is a senior leadership role calling for strategy and business acumen. For a leader seeking greater purpose in their career, this offers the chance to build and grow a community of donors around work that genuinely changes lives.
Responsibilities
Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you will shape and deliver an integrated fundraising and marketing strategy and annual development plan across individual giving, major donors, corporates and foundations. You will lead and develop a lean, high-performing fundraising team, charged with acquiring and retaining donors. Growing and diversifying income sits at the heart of the mandate, from deepening existing supporter relationships to opening new market segments and funding streams, while working with programme colleagues to keep a healthy pipeline of fundable projects. Alongside Finance, you will ensure robust governance, transparent stewardship of gifts and accountability to donors, strengthening trust in the organisation.
Requirements
This will suit a well-networked fundraising leader with a track record of building portfolios of individual, major, and corporate donors, and of growing income through segmentation, research, and cultivation. The ability to open doors to high net worth individuals, family offices, SMEs, and corporates, and to build lasting rapport with them, is key. Experience across major giving and foundations is valuable, and individual giving expertise an advantage.
You have built and motivated teams as a servant leader, are comfortable creating structure out of ambiguity, and communicate with gravitas across very different audiences, from corporate boardrooms to grassroots communities. You are equally at home in a frugal environment, where resources are channelled to the cause rather than to the organisation itself. A second Asian language and familiarity with donor management systems would be advantageous.
Senior leaders from enterprise or mid-market sales and business development who share this sense of purpose are warmly encouraged to apply.
