Funtional Analyst
Summary
Supports a Queensland government client’s Dynamics 365 and Power Platform transformation by gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, and collaborating with Agile teams to deliver enterprise workflows and data systems.
Salary: AUD 850 - 1000 per day
Functional AnalystInitial contract until October 2027 + Possible extension

In partnership with our Queensland Government client, we're seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to support a large-scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform transformation program.
Working within an Agile delivery team, you'll analyse business requirements, configure platform solutions, and help deliver outcomes across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Azure and Microsoft Fabric-aligned streams.
What you'll be doing
- Gather and analyse business requirements
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders
- Produce functional specifications and acceptance criteria
- Define business rules, process flows and data requirements
- Configure Dynamics 365 and Dataverse solutions
- Build prototypes to validate requirements
- Configure model-driven apps, forms and views
- Develop business rules and workflow solutions
- Support backlog refinement and sprint activities
- Collaborate with architects, developers and testers
- Support SIT, UAT and defect management
- Contribute to business readiness and documentation
What you need to bring
- Experience as a Functional Analyst, Functional Consultant or Business Analyst
- Strong Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement experience
- Hands-on Dataverse and Power Platform expertise
- Experience with model-driven apps and configuration
- Knowledge of forms, views, business rules and workflows
- Experience with Power Automate
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Agile project delivery experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting testing and solution validation

- Power Pages experience
- Government or regulatory project experience
- Azure DevOps experience
- Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications
