Funtional Safety Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform full-cycle functional safety work including requirements, design and evaluation, based on intelligent driving system specifications and industrial safety standards.
2. Implement functional safety analysis for automotive-grade products and robotics applications, including FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA, etc.
3. Be responsible for the implementation and improvement of functional safety mechanisms.
4. Manage functional safety-related certification processes and assist third-party agencies in completing product certification.
5. Liaise with customers on functional safety requirements.

Job Requirements

1. Master’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Control, Integrated Circuits or related majors.
2. Familiar with embedded hardware and software system development; knowledgeable in functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 and product development processes; proficient in applying common safety mechanisms in functional safety design; with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
3. Skilled in various functional safety analysis methods, including FTA, DFA, FMEA, FMEDA, etc.
4. English as a working language.
5. Highly self-motivated and curious with strong learning, communication and coordination abilities; responsible, detail-oriented and rigorous; with good teamwork spirit and strong interest in the automotive industry and functional safety.
