Furniture Assembler

About the role

At Ananda Trabajo Temporal, we are looking for a furniture assembler for a moving company based in Cassà de la Selva (Girona). We are looking for someone serious and with a good attitude, with the potential to join the company's permanent staff.

What you'll do

• Disassembly, assembly, and reinstallation of domestic furniture (wardrobes, beds, tables, shelving, etc.) at customers' homes.
• Organization and preservation of parts, screws, hardware, and accessories.
• Use of manual and electric tools.
• Protection of furniture and other delicate objects (such as paintings) during handling and transport.
• Checking the correct assembly, adjustment, and stability of the installed furniture.
• Communication to the supervisor of any damage or incidents.
• Maintenance of tools and order in the work area.
• Compliance with safety regulations and occupational risk prevention.

What we're looking for

• Minimum experience of 2-3 years in furniture assembly.
• Delicacy and seriousness in dealing with the customer and their belongings when working in homes.
• Driving license and own vehicle, to go directly to the Cassà de la Selva headquarters when required.
• Residence near Girona or surrounding areas.

Languages

• Spanish, and notions of Catalan are valued.

What you'll get

• 3-month contract through an ETT (Temporary Employment Agency), with real possibility of joining the permanent staff.
• Full-time 40-hour week, from 08:00 to 18:00 (2 h break). The schedule may include weekends, paid as overtime.
• Salary: €17.30 gross/h (€31,000 gross annually)
