Furniture Customer Service & Sales Support

Open 18d

Furniture is a high-ticket, highly personal purchase. When a customer’s custom dining table is delayed by logistics, or their new sofa arrives with a scuff mark, they get emotional. They get demanding. And yes, sometimes, they will raise their voice and scold you.

We are looking for a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist who has titanium-level thick skin. If you take customer complaints personally, this job will exhaust you. But if you have ice in your veins, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to disarm an angry, picky customer and turn them into a loyal brand advocate, you will absolutely thrive here.

What You Will Do

You will be the vital bridge between our sales team, our logistics/warehouse crew, and our clients. Your daily duties will include:

Frontline Conflict Resolution: Field incoming calls and messages from demanding customers regarding delivery delays, defects, and post-purchase regrets.

De-escalation: Handle high-tension interactions with empathy, strict professionalism, and authority, knowing how to calm a situation without giving away the house.

Sales Support: Assist the sales team with processing orders, generating invoices, checking inventory, and following up on leads.

Logistics Coordination: Liaise directly with the warehouse and delivery drivers to track orders, schedule replacements, and ensure promises made to the customer are kept.

Quality Assurance Tracking: Log recurring product issues or delivery complaints so management can fix root problems in the supply chain.

Who We Are Looking For

The "Iron Shield": You do not crumble under pressure. You understand that a yelling customer is upset at the situation, not at you personally.

Experience in the Trenches: 2+ years in a high-stakes customer service role (e.g., luxury retail, furniture, hospitality, or complaints departments).

Solution-Oriented: You don't just apologize; you immediately formulate a Plan A and Plan B to fix the issue.

Exceptional Communicator: Flawless written and spoken English. You know how to write an email that sounds accommodating but holds firm to company policies.

Detail Obsessed: Furniture involves complex SKUs, dimensions, and materials. You rarely make data-entry mistakes.

What We Offer

We Have Your Back: While we expect you to handle tough customers, our management does not tolerate abuse. We will empower you with clear boundaries on when to hang up or fire a client.

Competitive Compensation: We know this job is tough, and we pay accordingly.

Growth Path: Master this role, and there are clear avenues to move into senior operations, account management, or sales management.
