Fwd Deployed AI Engineer
About The Role
We’re looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to develop and deploy AI solutions inside one of the world’s largest aerospace and defense companies. You’ll work directly with our executives, engineers, and customers to understand how we design, manufacture, and ship products and how we can improve our internal operations and processes. This role sits at the intersection of AI, aerospace engineering, regulatory compliance, and customer fleet operations. You’ll own deployments from end-to-end and spend time with our subsidiaries building them. You’ll also reverse-engineer components, navigate fragmented technical data, and help us more efficiently ship FAA-approved PMA parts into complex fleet environments.

What You’ll Do
- Own AI deployments end-to-end, from conception to sustainment
- Make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs under strict real-world manufacturing constraints and tight timeframes.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and product development teams to rebuild our internal processes
Who You Are
- Minimum 1 year of experience building and owning production hardware/systems in aerospace manufacturing, high-growth aviation engineering, or similarly demanding MRO environments.
- Proven ability to debug complex mechanical or avionics failures in field or production environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with engineers and executives
