Game Tester – Mobile Games

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Game Tester with around 2 years of experience in mobile game testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of QA fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify, document, and verify issues throughout the game development cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Test mobile games across different devices and platforms to identify bugs, glitches, and gameplay issues.
• Execute test cases, regression testing, functional testing, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, and clearly document bugs with detailed steps and relevant evidence.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure issues have been resolved.
• Test gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, levels, controls, performance, and device compatibility.
• Collaborate with Developers, Game Designers, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
• Ensure game builds meet defined quality standards before release.
• Provide feedback on gameplay experience, usability, and overall game quality.

Requirements

• 1.5–2 years of experience in Game Testing / Game QA, preferably in mobile games.
• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and compatibility testing.
• Good understanding of bug reporting and defect life cycle.
• Experience with bug tracking/testing tools such as Jira, Trello, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of mobile devices, OS versions, and game performance.
• Passion for gaming with a good understanding of gameplay mechanics and player experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
