- Development of products, proposing new concepts and solutions, or improving current products, according to the technological evolution, ergonomic and safety rules.
- Design a new product as per customer requirements.
- Modify standard products according to customer request.
- Contact local and external suppliers to serve the available designs.
- Select the appropriate imported components for the design.
- Follow up the implementation of the first sample of the new products to reach the best performance of the product.
- Coordinate with the Department of Industrial Engineering to ensure the completion of the trees of the products.
- Work on the definition of the internal and external visual concept of the bus, considering technology, demands of market, transport rules and specifications, conditions for fabrication.
- Confirm delivery of products to customers with agreed specifications (for the first samples).
- Provide technical support for production lines in the initial production stages of products.
- Give support to the prototype team during the preparation of molds, making the interfaces required.
- Provide training and guidance to operation labors.
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
