GCP Cloud Engineer

We’re partnering with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer to support, secure and enhance its enterprise GCP environment.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on GCP architecture, networking, security and automation, and it's an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and securing enterprise GCP infrastructure within a complex environment.

• Develop, maintain and support enterprise GCP landing zones.
• Manage GCP networking
• Implement cloud security
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Support secure connectivity across GCP data platforms
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and security issues.

Key skills and experience:

• Strong hands-on GCP infrastructure and architecture experience.
• Deep knowledge of GCP networking and cloud security.
• Excellent Terraform and Infrastructure as Code skills.
• Experience with IAM, VPC, and Security Command Centre.
• Understanding of enterprise cloud security and data protection.

Experience with Google Cloud Foundation Fabric, Palo Alto, Megaport, Microsoft Entra ID and SIEM/XDR platforms will be highly regarded.
