GCP Data Engineer — Real-Time Pipelines & BigQuery

NTT Data is seeking a Data Architect to design, build, secure, and monitor data processing systems in a scalable, cloud-native environment. The role emphasizes data governance, security and efficient data pipelines across GCP services.

You will work to transform raw data into actionable insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data assets are reliable and compliant, enabling fast decision making.

Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines on GCP. Use data-driven approach to understand changing business needs. Collaborate with partners to address data systems requirements. Participate in project planning, milestones, and resource estimation. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field. 5–10 years’ experience in a data engineering role. Expertise in software engineering using Scala/Java/Python. Advanced SQL skills; BigQuery preferred. Strong knowledge of Google Managed Services: Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion. Experience with workflow management and data orchestration. Solid understanding of GCP architecture for batch and streaming. Strong data technologies and data modeling experience. Experience building modern, cloud-native data pipelines with ELT. Experience with Data Migration/Data Warehouse. Ability to organize, normalize and store complex data for ETL and end users. Passion for ingesting and transforming data from multiple sources.
