The Role
We're looking to recruit a GCP DevOps - Agentic AI Engineer to join a hands‑on engineering team delivering secure, production‑grade cloud and Agentic AI capabilities for a leading global financial‑services organisation. You will own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle across governed GCP environments, combining infrastructure as code, CI/CD, containerisation, serverless and event‑driven patterns, observability and operational support. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern GenAI and agent orchestration approaches while meeting the security and reliability expectations of a regulated enterprise.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, provision and manage scalable GCP infrastructure using Terraform and reusable infrastructure‑as‑code modules within governed landing‑zone environments.
- Build and maintain end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines covering build, package, containerise, deploy and release activities, using GitHub Actions or equivalent tooling.
- Deploy and operate applications across development, UAT and production environments using serverless compute, containers, cloud storage and messaging services.
- Engineer and support practical AI/GenAI applications and agent‑based systems, including enterprise LLM integrations and agent orchestration patterns.
- Implement secure access controls, service identities, IAM roles and secrets‑management practices appropriate for a regulated enterprise environment.
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong, hands‑on cloud engineering experience, with deep practical knowledge of GCP preferred.
- Proven expertise in Terraform, reusable modules and delivery within structured or governed cloud landing zones.
- Experience creating end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent, together with Docker‑based build and containerisation practices.
- Demonstrated ability to deploy, configure and troubleshoot cloud applications across Dev, UAT and Prod environments, including runtime issues.
- Practical experience building or deploying AI/GenAI applications or agent‑based systems, with familiarity in LLM integration and agent orchestration patterns.
- Experience with event‑driven and asynchronous architectures; serverless and container platforms; cloud storage and messaging; monitoring, logging and alerting; and operating secure live workloads in a regulated financial‑services environment.
