Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud-native technologies, containerization, infrastructure as code, and DevOps best practices to ensure reliable and secure deployment of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Automate deployment, configuration management, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with development, data engineering, and business teams to implement DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards across cloud environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and container orchestration.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or related technical discipline.

Good to Have

• Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of serverless services such as Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
• Experience with security automation and DevSecOps practices.
• Exposure to data engineering and analytics platforms.
