As a GCP DevOps - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will leverage your skills to design, code, and test applications that transform industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. You will guide and mentor others, navigating complex situations to deliver quality work and grow your personal brand.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver software and product innovation that meets the evolving needs of clients. Your technical experience and creative thinking will be crucial in driving product innovation and developing cutting-edge software solutions. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, embracing increased ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities to grow.

Responsibilities

- Developing and implementing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Designing, coding, and testing applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#.NET
- Managing the application lifecycle and confirming quality through continuous integration and delivery practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Utilizing microservices architecture and API management to build scalable and efficient software systems
- Conducting code reviews and debugging to maintain coding standards and improve software quality
- Leading efforts in business process improvement and management to optimize software development workflows
- Engaging in client management to understand and address client needs effectively
- Applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex software engineering challenges
- Mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
- Utilizing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies
- Excelling in API Management and Microservices architecture
- Developing applications using Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Managing complex software development projects with Agile methodologies
- Building client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure engineering.

- 4+ years of hands-on GCP experience, including enterprise-scale modernization or migration programs.

- Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, GKE, GKE Autopilot).

- Hands-on experience with Cloud Service Mesh (Anthos Service Mesh) and Service Directory.

- Strong backend development skills in Python and REST API design.

- Hands-on experience with GCP migration tooling (Migrate for Compute Engine, Database - Migration Service, Storage Transfer Service).

- Experience with schema conversion and database migration across heterogeneous and homogeneous sources.

- Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Artifact Registry, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, or Flux CD.

- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Config Connector).

- Experience with API integration testing and validation frameworks.

- Strong understanding of advanced networking (VPC, Cloud DNS, Load Balancing) and cloud security (Secret Manager, Cloud KMS, IAM, Security Command Center).

- Hands-on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience, including SLI/SLO management and observability tooling (Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Trace, Cloud Profiler).

- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash/Shell, with working proficiency on Linux systems and the gcloud CLI.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Practices.
