Urgent requirement of GCP Infrastructure Engineer - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

• Strong experience in architecting the Google Cloud Platform.
  
• Strong knowledge of GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery.
  
• Strong experience with networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect) and security best practices.
  
• Lead migration of on-prem or legacy systems (e.g., DC, Storage, VMs) to GCP through GCVE and/or GCE.
  
• Knowledge of GCP Foundation and Google CAF.
  
• Experience in IAM, VPC Service Controls, encryption (CMEK), and compliance frameworks.
  
• Monitor and optimise GCP resource utilisation and billing. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  
• Container security (GKE) and API security.
  
• Ensure encryption in transit and at rest using Cloud KMS and CMEK
  

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
